What is the Google Dance
[caption id="attachment_139" align="alignright" width="143" caption="Google Dance"][/caption] I've been studying search engines off and on for the past several years now and every now and then someone asks what the Google Dance is all about. Basically it's Google's way of updating its' data. Why all the fuss about the "Google Dance"? Well back in the day, when Google performed an index update the search results would be affected which would freak out some site owners especially those making money for a specific search term. These site owners found themselves bumped from the first page or lower. However, with good SEO (Search Engine Optimization) practices ...
Important Read About Cancer
[caption id="attachment_89" align="alignright" width="200" caption="Metastasizing Cancer"][/caption] A friend of mine recently sent me this and I thought I would post it for everyone's benefit. My mother is cancer free now so let that be a testament to God - After years of telling people chemotherapy is the only way to "try" ("try" being the key word) to eliminate cancer, Johns Hopkins is finally starting to tell you there is an alternative way... Cancer Update from Johns Hopkins : 1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few ...
Healthcare Reform Disaster
I was listening to Fred Thompson this morning talk about Obama's healthcare reform plan and I was shocked to hear about some of the language that was in it. Don't take my word for it - go and take a look for yourself! Read this section: SEC. 1236. DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM ON USE OF PATIENT DECISIONS AIDS. The Secretary of Health and Human Services shall establish a shared decision making demonstration program (in this subsection referred to as the `program') under the Medicare program using patient decision aids to meet the objective of improving the understanding by Medicare beneficiaries of their medical treatment options, as ...
Got My New iPhone
Well, I took the plunge and got rid of my Blackberry Curve last week. I jumped on the band wagon and got myself a new iPhone 3GS. I have to say, I am very impressed with this new iPhone. It definitely takes advantage of the 3G technology and being an Apple product it runs really smooth. I can't understand how I could have passed up the original version a couple of years ago because the Blackberry has nothing on the iPhone.
It’s Time For A Divorce
[caption id="attachment_42" align="alignright" width="150" caption="Time To Get Tough"][/caption] This was a recent post I came accross in the Washington Times by username "howardbeale". His statements pretty much sums it up nicely. By: howardbeale Since my birth in the 1950's, we have managed to tolerate each other until this last election. I now realize we are hopelessly divided and that nothing can fix us except a DIVORCE. I realize now we have only tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations. Our differences are irreconcilable, so all that is left to be done is the division of assets. Here is a ...
What Is Internet Marketing?
[caption id="attachment_47" align="alignright" width="150" caption="Search Engines"][/caption] Internet marketing, simply put, is the marketing of your products or services over the Internet. The attraction to Internet Marketing by companies and individuals can be attributed to the lower costs and wider audience that can be reached. The term "Internet Marketing" is not just about putting banners on websites, linking to other sites, or registering in a search engine but rather a strategy that brings together the creative and technical aspects of marketing. This can involve Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Social Media Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, Pay Per Click, Email Marketing, banners , ...
Vivian’s 3!
[caption id="" align="alignright" width="200" caption="Vivian's 3rd Birthday Party @ Chuck E. Cheese"][/caption] We celebrated Vivian's 3rd birthday party at her favorite place - Chuck E. Cheese! Her first and second birthday's are probably only a blur to her but Christine and I know that she'll start retaining memories around this age. We invited some of the neighborhood kids and her favorite playmate to help make it extra memorable. We also finally realized why Vivian was soo scared of the guys walking around in the Chuck E. Cheese costume too; She said that they're toys and they're not supposed to be talking back to ...

Moved To Texas!
[caption id="attachment_33" align="alignright" width="150" caption="The Great State of Texas"][/caption] Well, if you don't already know - We've moved to Texas. It's a much better atmosphere to raise children in than Southern California. The family is still getting adjusted to the conservative culture and it'll take time but the outcome will be well worth it. Texans seem to have a zealous pride about their state and the country, displaying their patrioitism on cars, clothes, and homes. It's nice to be around people that respect and honor what you've been fighting for overseas. So far, I like it here. Moving to Texas has allowed me to ...

Right To Life
Right To Life It amazes me how “Pro Choice” activists and crazy liberals have turned the issue upside down and made abortion a civil rights issue. A sane man or woman would know that it’s not about control but the life of the unborn. Liberals argue that a “fetus” is nothing more than a group of cells – that it can’t be construed as a human life yet. How... [Read more]
