Got My New iPhone
Well, I took the plunge and got rid of my Blackberry Curve last week. I jumped on the band wagon and got myself a new iPhone 3GS. I have to say, I am very impressed with this new iPhone. It definitely takes advantage of the 3G technology and being an Apple product it runs really smooth. I can't understand how I could have passed up the original version a couple of years ago because the Blackberry has nothing on the iPhone.
It’s Time For A Divorce
[caption id="attachment_42" align="alignright" width="150" caption="Time To Get Tough"][/caption] This was a recent post I came accross in the Washington Times by username "howardbeale". His statements pretty much sums it up nicely. By: howardbeale Since my birth in the 1950's, we have managed to tolerate each other until this last election. I now realize we are hopelessly divided and that nothing can fix us except a DIVORCE. I realize now we have only tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations. Our differences are irreconcilable, so all that is left to be done is the division of assets. Here is a ...
What Is Internet Marketing?
[caption id="attachment_47" align="alignright" width="150" caption="Search Engines"][/caption] Internet marketing, simply put, is the marketing of your products or services over the Internet. The attraction to Internet Marketing by companies and individuals can be attributed to the lower costs and wider audience that can be reached. The term "Internet Marketing" is not just about putting banners on websites, linking to other sites, or registering in a search engine but rather a strategy that brings together the creative and technical aspects of marketing. This can involve Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Social Media Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, Pay Per Click, Email Marketing, banners , ...
Vivian’s 3!
[caption id="" align="alignright" width="200" caption="Vivian's 3rd Birthday Party @ Chuck E. Cheese"][/caption] We celebrated Vivian's 3rd birthday party at her favorite place - Chuck E. Cheese! Her first and second birthday's are probably only a blur to her but Christine and I know that she'll start retaining memories around this age. We invited some of the neighborhood kids and her favorite playmate to help make it extra memorable. We also finally realized why Vivian was soo scared of the guys walking around in the Chuck E. Cheese costume too; She said that they're toys and they're not supposed to be talking back to ...

Moved To Texas!
[caption id="attachment_33" align="alignright" width="150" caption="The Great State of Texas"][/caption] Well, if you don't already know - We've moved to Texas. It's a much better atmosphere to raise children in than Southern California. The family is still getting adjusted to the conservative culture and it'll take time but the outcome will be well worth it. Texans seem to have a zealous pride about their state and the country, displaying their patrioitism on cars, clothes, and homes. It's nice to be around people that respect and honor what you've been fighting for overseas. So far, I like it here. Moving to Texas has allowed me to ...
Angels Vs. Yankees
[caption id="attachment_29" align="alignright" width="150" caption="Angels Vs. Yankees"][/caption] I didn't think the Angels could pull this off especially when the Yankees hit two home runs at the start of the 6th inning. The story changed however; The Angels came alive at the bottom of the 8th and kept it going for 8 more. The Angels ended up winning 11-4! Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez got sent home with a big fat "L". Good to see a win for the home team - even if I don't know who any of them are... What...? I'm a natural born Cubs fan! You can see more ...
2008 World Series of Poker
[caption id="attachment_25" align="alignright" width="150" caption="2008 World Series of Poker"][/caption] Well, I wasn't able to scrape up enough buy-in money to play but I was able to watch the last three tables with 24 players left. There were a few well known players but the majority were amateurs. Incidentally, you're not allowed to bring you're two year old in the tournament area - Christine and I had to take turns watching Vivian while the other watched the game. We'll see if I have better luck next year. :-)
Texas Trip 2008
[caption id="attachment_21" align="alignright" width="150" caption="Christine @ The Riverwalk"][/caption] Once again we made another trip to Texas! We stayed in Austin the whole time but we did manage to bar-hop in San Antonio. We pretty much had bar-b-que and junk foods the whole time we were out there. I'd say I gained about 5 pounds but it was all worth it - especially this place called "The Salt Lick". It's basically a family owned ranch that turned out to be a big success. The food at the Salt Lick was sooo good - the smell made my mouth water before I even ...
July 4th In The Mountains
[caption id="attachment_18" align="alignright" width="150" caption="Catch Of The Day"][/caption] We spent the weekend of the 4th up in the mountains of Lake Arrowhead. I was getting burned out from all the hours I've been working and thought this would be a nice weekend getaway. Check out this beauty I caught - It's supposed to be a rainbow trout. Vivian was it briefly but she was so tired she fell asleep for a few hours. So, I went ahead and filleted and fried the little sucker. When Vivian awoke the first words out of her mouth was "I wanna see the fishy!". Poor little ...

My Little Girl’s First Day Of School
Vivian's First Day! My little girl started her first day of school on 5 February 2008, “Super Tuesday”. I was just going through the pictures and remembered how adorable she was. Vivian was soo excited! She got her shoes on, picked up her back pack and called for Mommy & Daddy to open the door. I never thought I’d be so proud to have a baby daughter. Four years ago,... Mom’s Birthday & Easter in Las Vegas!
Mom's Birthday & Easter Celebration We celebrated Mom’s birthday in Las Vegas earlier this month. We were blessed with such a great weekend. Mom turned 71 and is becoming stronger every day. All the kids eventually found the hidden easter eggs. I believe Jacob and Jordan found theirs first, then Codie and Chloe. Vivian ended up finding the biggest egg of all which turned out to be a big rubber... [Read more]
