Since I'm doing pretty well online as far as sit-n-go's and cash games go, I thought I'd give some tips on good poker play.
I don't claim to be an expert and I wouldn't want anyone to think I was presumptuous but I've done pretty well for myself when it comes to single-table sit-n-go's and cash games. I hear about and see so many players make so many mistakes when it comes to online poker. Yes, there is a big difference between online poker and live poker games. - You can't physically read your opponents
- Online poker presents a different set of dynamics than live poker
Okay, so if you can't see the person you're playing against - what are your disadvantages? Well, you can't see if he has a tell. No sweating, shaky hands, throat clearing, chest rythm, so on and so on. Not even the timing of the calls or bets are the tells for your online opponents. One advantage you do have is the "Hand History". Almost all online poker programs have the Hand History feature - Use this to your advantage. Look through the hand history and get a feel for how your opponent is playing. Is he a tight player - playing premium hands or a lose cannon playing rags? Keep an eye on the hand history and learn how your opponents play. Of course if you've just joined a table then you're going to wait for some hands to pass before you can make any type assessment. |

Internet marketing, simply put, is the marketing of your products or services over the Internet.
The attraction to Internet Marketing by companies and individuals can be attributed to the lower costs and wider audience that can be reached. The term "Internet Marketing" is not just about putting banners on websites, linking to other sites, or registering in a search engine but rather a strategy that brings together the creative and technical aspects of marketing. This can involve Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Social Media Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, Pay Per Click, Email Marketing, banners , linking, and many more. |

We celebrated Vivian's 3rd birthday party at her favorite place - Chuck E. Cheese!
Her first and second birthday's are probably only a blur to her but Christine and I know that she'll start retaining memories around this age. We invited some of the neighborhood kids and her favorite playmate to help make it extra memorable. We also finally realized why Vivian was soo scared of the guys walking around in the Chuck E. Cheese costume too; She said that they're toys and they're not supposed to be talking back to her... [case closed]. Vivian got just about everything she's ever wanted - a new bike, more dolls, toys, and more. She's soo worth every penny of it! Artemis |

Well, if you don't already know - We've moved to Texas.
It's a much better atmosphere to raise children in than Southern California. The family is still getting adjusted to the conservative culture and it'll take time but the outcome will be well worth it. Texans seem to have a zealous pride about their state and the country, displaying their patrioitism on cars, clothes, and homes. It's nice to be around people that respect and honor what you've been fighting for overseas. So far, I like it here. Moving to Texas has allowed me to slow things down and enjoy the fruits of my labor. There's no rush, no materialism, nor elitism. I've grown very fond of Texas so far and I hope it stays that way. I didn't think the Angels could pull this off especially when the Yankees hit two home runs at the start of the 6th inning. The story changed however; The Angels came alive at the bottom of the 8th and kept it going for 8 more. The Angels ended up winning 11-4! Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez got sent home with a big fat "L". Good to see a win for the home team - even if I don't know who any of them are... What...? I'm a natural born Cubs fan!
You can see more picture of the excursion here. |
