We spent the weekend of the 4th up in the mountains of Lake Arrowhead. I was getting burned out from all the hours I’ve been working and thought this would be a nice weekend getaway. Check out this beauty I caught – It’s supposed to be a rainbow trout.  Vivian was it briefly but she was so tired she fell asleep for a few hours.  So, I went ahead and filleted and fried the little sucker.

When Vivian awoke the first words out of her mouth was “I wanna see the fishy!”.  Poor little girl, I didn’t have the heart to tell her it was the pile of fish bones on the plate.
