Well, if you don’t already know – We’ve moved to Texas.

It’s a much better atmosphere to raise children in than Southern California.  The family is still getting adjusted to the conservative culture and it’ll take time but the outcome will be well worth it.

Texans seem to have a zealous pride about their state and the country, displaying their patrioitism on cars, clothes, and homes.  It’s nice to be around people that respect and honor what you’ve been fighting for overseas.

So far, I like it here.  Moving to Texas has allowed me to slow things down and enjoy the fruits of my labor.  There’s no rush, no materialism, nor elitism.  I’ve grown very fond of Texas so far and I hope it stays that way.
